We have had a lovely week back together as a class in Year 4.

We have enjoyed recapping and building on our place value knowledge in maths as well as doing some addition and subtraction. The children have worked really hard.

In English, we started our topic with an exciting magic show! The book that we are studying is called 'Leon and the Place Between' and is all about Leon and his siblings, going to watch a magic show. We will continue with our work on this next week.

The children thoroughly enjoyed a wander across the common to take our froglets,  which were kindly donated to us as tadpoles, to the stream. 

There are spellings uploaded and tasks on mathletics to be completed by next Wednesday, so please take a look at those. The children should also spend some time reading and practising their times tables.
