Hello everyone,

The children have been working really hard on researching something to do with nature. We heard a poem about bluebells before going on a nature walk around our lovely school grounds and we spotted so many things to do with nature, some of which were beyond the fence like the ponies and foals. The children will be writing a leaflet this week, having done their research, informing the reader about their item of nature. 

We are continuing with our work on multiplication this week and we revised our times tables and our formal strategies last week. We are having a real push in school on our times tables, trying to make sure that the children have learnt all of them in preparation for Year 5. Please can we ask that the children take time to practice these at home too.

On Friday, we had our topic themed day and learnt some French as well as making our own games on Scratch, by inputting certain algorithms. The children were great and thoroughly enjoyed make their games.

We are looking forward to completing our last week together, before a well deserved rest for half term.
