We have had a lovely week in year 4.

I would like to welcome Miss Langton to year 4. She has joined us as a TA and has been enjoying settling in over the past 2 weeks and getting to know your children.

In English this week we have created persuasive posters to convince people to leave the Kapok tree alone and not cut it down. The children put lots of effort into their writing and worked hard to edit their work.

In maths we have continued to focus on what happens when diving by 10. We have applied this to a range of different numbers and many contexts. I have been very impressed with their effort across the week. They have grown in confidence and are tackling lots of problem solving tasks related to dividing by 10.
