We have had a great week in year 4. One of our highlights was drawing and painting treehouse designs based on a selection of treehouse photographs. The children took great care over their paintings and the final outcomes were wonderful.

In maths this week we have been looking at a range of methods to solve multiplication problems involving 2 digit numbers. I am so proud of the children’s resilience and determination. They have really challenged themselves and persevered when finding different methods challenging. The class have received lots of Dojo points – we are hoping for another class reward soon!

In English, we have continued to explore ‘Leon and the Place Between’. We have looked at different devices that the author has used and written an independent narrative.

We have continued to talk lots about Hooke Court. We still have our worry/question jar available and today have discussed all the things we are excited about!
