Year 4
Year 4 - 15.07.2022
What a great week! The sun has been shining, and we have been enjoying spending time outside. The forest school area is lovely and shady, so we have spent some time there. It gives us the chance to check in on the pigs too!
In English, we have designed our own dragons to have as school pets! The children worked hard to design dragons that would benefit the school and have come up with some fantastic creations.
In maths, we have continued with dividing 2 and 3 digits numbers. We have used dienes, pictures and part whole models to represent our divisions and the children have grown in confidence. Towards the end of the week we have moved onto Roman numerals.
In PSHE this week we have been talking about puberty and how our bodies change. The whole class have been incredibly sensible and I am very proud of them. I have set up a question jar for any children who wish to ask more questions.
A huge highlight this week was watching the children be a part of the production. Thank you so much for all the costumes and for coming to the evening performances. All of the children did brilliantly, especially in the heat!
I hope you all enjoy the weekend.
