We have had a great week in year 4. We had another fantastic cricket session outside and the sun was shining. This week we made sure all children could access their Ed Shed accounts. We all signed in and had a go at completing the set spelling tasks and maths tasks. Home Learning is set every Tuesday and will need to be completed by the following Tuesday.

In English, the children have planned and written their own story featuring Fox from our class text. The children came up with some fantastic ideas for the setting, plot and ending. They have then gone on to write them independently. I really enjoyed reading their stories and seeing how much detail they had included.

In maths, we have been ordering and comparing 4 digit numbers. We have then used this knowledge and applied it to money. We have recapped counting money, ordered and compared amounts and solved a variety of word problems.

Next week we will be having a Harvest Festival worship in school. We will be collecting non-perishable food items for the New Forest Basics Bank. If you are able to donate anything, please send the items in with your child by Friday 7^th October.
