Year 4 have had a fantastic week. We are really enjoying our music sessions every Tuesday. Mrs Thomas is always very impressed with their effort and enthusiasm. Another highlight was art. Last week, Year 4 worked on drawing Andy Goldsworthy sculptures. This week, they used their paint mixing skills and various paintbrush techniques to carefully paint these. As you can see from the picture on this blog, the outcome was amazing!

This week in English we have been continuing with our film unit. We have focused on vocabulary choices, re-capped verbs and adverbs and started to plan our own endings to the film. We will be writing these next week.

In maths, we have continued learning about money. We have used our rounding skills to round to the nearest pound and use this to estimate amounts. We have also recapped adding and subtracting money and working out change.
