We have had a fantastic day!! The weather has been great and we have enjoyed exploring the grounds. It really is beautiful here.

Our first activity was rocket making which was brilliant! The children worked in groups making and decorating their rockets. We then went outside into the fields to set off the rockets. We were incredibly impressed with how far they went! 

The remaining time before dinner was spent playing games, running around outside and relaxing inside. We then enjoyed pasta, garlic bread and ice cream for our evening meal. 

Our final activity was shell craft. The class have created some beautiful shell magnets to bring home with them and this was a lovely end to a busy day! 

All children are now tucked up in bed and will be fast asleep soon....hopefully!
