We have had an amazing first day!  As you can see from the picture, it has been cloudy but the rain has held off! Mrs Burch, Mrs Macey-Dare, Vicky and myself have been very proud of the children’s enthusiasm and positivity - even on the long coach journey here! The children have taken part in a rocket making activity in groups and then created their own shell magnets this evening. They were amazed by how far their rockets flew into the air and their shell craft looks fantastic. During our free time, the children made the most of the wonderful grounds and spent some time playing and exploring. Some chose to relax at our accommodation and enjoy a few moments of calm and quiet. The children have eaten well this evening and are all tucked up in bed reading a book. We are hoping for all to be sleeping soon!
