Round up of the week.

Maths

We have started learning about 4 digit numbers and understanding the place value of behind these numbers.

English

We started reading “Leon and the Place Between”. The children have been using their senses and writing their own simple and complex sentences describing a magic show.

Science

We had the most amazing time yesterday looking at the living things around the school and looking at the conditions in which they live in.

Woodpeckers

Every week 6 children will be given the opportunity to visit Woodpeckers care home to spend some quality time with the residents. They play games, complete crosswords and undertake maths challenges. The first 6 children visited today and loved the experience.

PE Kits

Please can we ensure that PE kits are in every day as we will be doing either PE or the Golden mile running.

Helpers

If there are any parents/carers who are able to hear children read in the afternoon please can you let me/  the office know in order that we can get DBS clearance for you. All help greatly appreciated.
