This week we have finished our Animal Shape poems- we are very proud of them! We have continued our work on Silent Letters for spelling. We really enjoyed the end of our Negative Numbers work by playing an NCETM Connect 3 game, which further embedded our understanding. In art we worked with oil pastels to create Rainforest Animal Art- we tried to keep the pastels off our shirts!
Well done to those of you who managed to complete the Mathletics homework last week. Just a reminder to all that it is set on a Friday to be completed by the following Friday. Homework club runs from 12.45-1.15 pm on a Friday, so if your child is not able to access a computer then they are welcome to come along and complete their activity during this time.
The children enjoyed a visit from Luna, our school dog this afternoon and asked Mrs Gale lots of questions about dog behaviour and training. We remembered some of the key advice about handling dogs from the Dog’s trust assembly. Luna was very excited to see them all and we hope to see her again in class soon.
We are looking forward to seeing you all at Parents’ meetings next week.
Have a lovely weekend.
