Dear parents,

Thank you for your help in sending your child in with a suitable coat this week.  It was brilliant to see every single Y5 child dressed appropriately for outdoor wet play yesterday!

This week in maths, we have continued our place value and rounding journey, culminating in some problem-solving today.  We have been skimming and scanning for information in English and creating acrostic poems in response to our class book, ‘The Lost Words’.  In art we have created leaf paintings in watercolour, thought about the qualities needed to be a god in RE and looked at the Eatwell Guide in our health and well-being sessions, as well as challenging misconceptions and exploring new facts about plant reproduction in science.  What a week it has been!

Great effort and determination from all again – well done Y5!
