In response to last week's blog, can we say a big thank you to you for getting your children to school for 8.30 when Year 5 lessons start. 

Spellings will be issued into the yellow spelling book each Wednesday. Work connected to those spellings will be set on Ed Shed on that day. This week's spellings were a one-off linked to their maths objectives. 

KS2 Reading scheme books will be changed once a week (usually a Monday).  If your child finishes the book during the week, they have their library book to read or can choose another book to read from the class bookshelf.

The children have been working hard on their poems based on the book The Lost Words. We have been very impressed with their choice of vocabulary. In maths, we have worked on comparing and ordering numbers. 

A reminder that PE will take place on a Wednesday and Thursday afternoon but trainers need to be in school every day.
