Dear parents and carers,

A reminder that next Tuesday and Wednesday is parents evening, and that Friday is an INSET day for the children.

This week we had a fantastic trip to Ballard School to see their production of Matilda Jr.  We all really enjoyed finally getting to go on a class trip again, and the children made us extremely proud with their excellent behaviour. Well done Year 5!

In D&T we were practising our cutting skills cutting carrots using the claw and bridge technique. In preparation for the 'Big Brock Dance Off' next week, the children were putting together their final routines using the skills they have been learning in PE this half-term. 

In geography the children explored whether Irvine and Mallory made it to the top of Everest or not.
