Dear parents and carers,

The children have been enjoying our story, Henry’s Freedom Box and are now planning a final piece of writing based around a diary entry from one event in the story.

This week we have had a revision week in Maths covering rounding, formal method of short division, angles round a point (360°) and negative numbers.

We have started our new RE unit, Salvation based on the Easter Story, and we have continued our work on optical art.

The children enjoyed the whole class marble treat and are already working towards their next one. Well done Year 5!

Next week the children will be making their final storybooks in D&T. They worked very hard today designing the pages and mechanisms.
