Dear parents and carers,

Yay, we’ve made it to the end of the Spring term! Thank you to the Year 5 children for all their hard work and for making this term such a brilliant one.

We have had an eggcellent week learning all about the British Empire in history and delving deeper into the Easter story in RE. The children have really impressed us with their often insightful and intuitive responses to the learning.

The children have completed their storybooks in D&T and have shown some eggtrodinary skills in designing and making mechanisms that enhance their stories.

We hope you have a restful Easter break, and we look forward to welcoming the children back for the summer term.
