Dear parents and carers,

Thank you to all those children who bought in a donation for Children In Need. The class was full of spots and stripes, and it was wonderful to see the children so excited!

This afternoon in PE, we had a special Children In Need lesson where the children worked in small groups, with apparatus of their choice, and created new games. They then demonstrated their game to the rest of the class and each group had a chance to try them out. It was brilliant to see them working so well together as teams.

This week and next, we are focusing on being kind to each other. We have talked about World Kindness Day, and will continue to reinforce this message with the children in a variety of ways, including how to behave acceptably online.

In maths we are continuing our work with fractions.  With regard to the maths homework set each week on Maths Shed (accessed via Ed Shed using this same username and password), your child may get more than one activity depending on how many learning objectives were focussed on during the week.  Some weeks will also focus on revising times tables.
