Dear parents and carers,

This week in maths the children have been reading and interpreting graphs and tables. We have finished our reading unit, The House with the Chicken Legs, which the children have enjoyed.

For writing, the children have written fabulous setting paragraphs and Tanka poems. 

On Wednesday, Key Stage 2 were lucky enough to listen to a music performance by Highcliffe pupils, including a saxophone, clarinet, violin, oboe and a choir.

Next week the children will be watching the Key Stage 1 nativity at the church. They are also practising their songs for carols around the tree in the last week of term.

The whole school was very excited to see classroom doors decorated by the children with a Christmas theme - obviously the Year 5 door was the best!
