Dear parents and carers,

This week the children really enjoyed going to church to watch the Key Stage 1 nativity. They then very sensibly accompanied younger year groups back to school.

The children have almost finished their musical instruments in D&T. They have worked extremely hard on this challenging unit of work.

In science, to conclude our unit on how new substances are made, the children made bath bombs which they will test on Monday. They are investigating the science behind the fizzing. Our classroom smells heavenly!

In English the children have completed their plans for a dual narrative and will be writing and editing these next week.

The children were introduced to a Roman numeral tarsia puzzle earlier in the week, with which they showed perseverance - well done Year 5.
