Dear parents and carers,

The children have enjoyed World Book Day, thank you for the fantastic costumes. All the children should now have a £1.00 voucher to exchange for a World Book Day book at participating retailers. Alternatively, they can use the value of this voucher against the cost of a book at our upcoming book fair - more information to follow.

The children thoroughly enjoyed their Rippa Rugby session on Monday. The coach was fantastic with the children, and they gave 100% effort in return.

In maths we have continued with subtraction and addition, concluding with multi -step problem solving. 

In science the children conducted an investigation answering the question, 'How does the distance of a light source affect how much light hits an object?'. They have applied this to the solar system.

In geography we have been using an OS map to find four figure grid references, and looked at symbols used on the key in relation to the Cambrian Mountains and the New Forest National Park.

Please could we request that during pick up parents wait on the playground behind the red line, so as not to distract the children who are still in lessons.
