Dear parents and carers,

This week in maths we have been continuing our work with division, and have been dividing a 4-digit number by a 1-digit number.

In writing we have been learning about modal verbs. The children wrote sentences about human rights using a wide range of different modal verbs.

In reading we have continued to enjoy the story, The Dragon of Krakow and have been learning about how words relate to meaning in a text.

Science was full of 'catapulting' fun as the children investigated how to control the force of an object by using a lever.

Forest School, group 1 sessions will restart on Tuesday 16th May. Please remember to bring in your kit.

In geography, we have been finding out about the cultural heritage of the National Parks of the United Kingdom.
