Dear parents and carers,

It was great to see the children back out at Forest School this week, they thoroughly enjoyed it.

The children have finished their writing unit and also the guided reading text, The Dragon of Krakow. 

In maths the children have persevered with short division successfully. 

In science, we were investigating pulleys. The children were making their own pulley mechanism to test the theory that the pulley would reduce the load of the object they needed to lift. 

In RE, the children investigated the festival of Eid and the rituals contained therein. 

For geography the children answered the question, Why is protected land so important in the Southwest of England?
