Dear parents and carers,

Forest school will commence on Tuesday 13^th June for Group 2. Please come with appropriate clothing for the weather.

This week we have started our new reading and writing units. Our writing unit uses Mrs.Edwards’ favourite book ‘Love that dog,’and is a poetry narrative. In reading our book is the modern classic ‘The other side of the Mountain.’

In maths we are working to understand negative numbers. Do you know whether zero is a positive or negative number? Year 5 do!

In science, the children had great fun with an experiment looking into what affects lung capacity, displacing water with long breaths.
