Dear parents and carers,

Today a letter was sent home regarding our forthcoming trip to Marwell Zoo. 

An email was sent to all parents about the Rotary Shoebox Appeal we are supporting.

This week in maths the children have been working with number lines up to 1,000,000 and partitioning numbers in different ways.

We have completed the writing unit on the book, The Lost words, and the children have produced their own Acrostic poems in the style of Adder.

In reading they have been applying their knowledge of organisational features for the reader to create a Saturn information sheet.

In art this week we have used a mixture of watercolour and acrylic crayons to create graphic leaf designs. 

In geography we located active volcanoes around the United Kingdom and will be focusing on Iceland going forward.
