Dear parents and carers,

In maths this week we started our new unit looking at multiplication and division. The children were finding multiples of a number. 

This week in writing we started our new unit looking at different portal stories. The first one we have looked at is Alice In Wonderland. 

In geography, we have finished our Iceland unit. The children have been encouraged to find out about the volcanic activity currently occurring on the south-west peninsular of mainland Iceland.

In D&T the children were looking at different types of structures such as tents, bus stops and animal play and sleeping structures. They were thinking about construction materials, how the structure has been strengthened and reinforced, as well as whether it meets the users' needs.
