Dear parents and carers,

What a fantastic day we had today! Linking to our trip to Marwell Zoo and our D and T unit on frame structures, the children have put their designs into practise with wonderful results and very impressive skills. 

It was decorate class Christmas door day today. Mrs Morris did a live video tour of the school so that every child got to see every class door - obviously we think our door is the best!

In maths the children were learning about prime numbers and square numbers, which we will be continuing with next week.

In writing the children have started the new portal text Coraline. They were looking at why they think it will make a good portal story and inferring about what sort of girl Coraline is.
