Dear parents and carers,

The weeks are flying by and we can’t quite believe we are approaching the end of term already.

On Monday we went to St.Saviour’s to watch the KS1 Nativity, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We are also practising the carols chosen for KS2 Carols Around the Tree next week.

We have been focusing hard on our PORTAL story, planning it in detail and writing it today and yesterday.

In maths, we didn’t want to stop investigating the difference between squared and cubed numbers, and took great delight in using multi-links to build 3D cubes.

In D&T we have been evaluating our frame structures against our design specifications. 

There was more investigating in science today. This week it was finding ways to separate mixtures of materials using different processes, such as dissolving,  sieving and magnetic attraction.
