Dear parents and carers,

The clay work looks better than the uploaded picture! The children did this in response to the stimulus of a Grimm Fairytale. 

In computing the children were creating a Splat game using Scratch. We have some real experts in the class who were able to develop the programme further. 

In geography we had our second lesson focusing on locating the higher regions of the UK. The children are confident experts at labelling their maps and locating different regions accurately. Well done Year 5.

In reading we have enjoyed hearing two survival stories and retrieving and recording information for the texts.

In PE the children have, almost, perfected their dances for the Danceoff next Thursday.
