Dear parents and carers,

We've had a short but busy final week of the spring term!  

In maths we have completed our area and perimeter unit and will be moving on to a new topic after Easter.

The children have written powerful Diamante poems using passionate, contrasting words based around human rights. 

In reading we have been practising the skill of inference by focusing on Fionn's connection to the candles and what this tells us about the island.

We have completed our history unit, and yesterday the children compared the British Empire to the Commonwealth of Nations. 

We hope you have a happy and healthy Easter break.
