We had a fantastic trip to Winchester Science Centre on Thursday. Our favourite part was the Planetarium (shown above), which really helped our understanding of our solar system and location of the planets.
We have drawn together our Shackleton unit by creating a plan for our forthcoming endurance narrative.
In reading we have learnt about the Netherlands, and next week we will focus on Iceland, which links back beautifully to our geography unit last term.
Please can you keep sourcing recycled containers that held liquid. We need more of these for future work on capacity.
The children have designed some beautiful hearts for the 'Love in a heart' theme for Woodpeckers Nursing Home - well done to all.
