Round up of the week

English

We have been looking at the poem “The Raven” this week. The children have looked in detail at the language used and the effect that it has on the reader. The children have also produced their own poems.

Maths

We have begun to look at multiplication this week and informal and formal methods.

Science

We have been looking at water resistance this week and experimenting with this.

Additional work over half term

I am attaching some voluntary English and Maths work for the half term. I am offering 3 house points to anyone that completes an element of the work.
