Round up of the week

The children have continued to respond well to being back and are working hard (with a smile on their faces.)

English

This week we have begun our new Class Text “Dead Man’s Cove”. We have looked at the book cover and beginning two paragraphs to predict the story and have had a go at improving the language and detail in those paragraphs.

Maths

We have continued to concentrate on place value to 10,000,000. We have looked at number lines, bar models and partitioning of numbers.
