Round up of the week

English

This week we have concentrating on uplevelling our sentences to include more detail by adding:

• Adverbs,
• Fronted adverbials or information at the front of the sentence,
• Parenthesis,
• Extra information at the end
• Similes.

Maths

We have looked at rounding numbers this week (rounding to 10,100,1000,1000,000, 1,000,000 and to a whole number)

We have been categorising living things that we found in the sensory garden and writing our own dichotomous key (Classification key)
