Round up of the week

English

This week we have written a follow on chapter for Dead Man’s Cove. I have amazed by the children’s efforts to produce interesting and exciting pieces of writing. They have sought to include the elements of grammar that I have taught this year and to experiment with their language.

Maths

We have been adding and subtracting six and seven digit numbers and problem solving using these skills (having to make the decision of what operation to use)

We have been designing our own garden centres, using categorisation to decide which plants/trees to put where.
