Good afternoon,

Well, we have made it to the end of the week. The children have done really well during the final part of the week given the fact that they were exhausted! We had such a brilliant time in Swanage and will be talking about our time their throughout the rest of the year I'm sure. 

In English, the children have chosen their own form of writing linked to Swanage. They've written some fantastic murder mysteries, set in Swanage,  poems, posters and recounts of the trip. We will be sending these to the instructors from our trip for them to enjoy. 

In Maths, over the last two weeks we have been focusing on place value, working with numbers up to a million, ensuring that we are secure in our understanding of the value of each digit, as well as making sure we can round any number to any place value. This will set us up well for all other areas of maths for the year.
