Hello everyone,

The year 6s have continued to work hard throughout the week. 

In maths, it has been fantastic to hear the range of different mental strategies that the children have to answer addition and subtraction questions. These mental strategies are great for freeing up thinking when answering more complex questions.

The children have started to write their own chapter for Dead Man's Cove and they have invented such creative ideas. I look forward to reading them all when they are finished. 

To confirm, our PE days are a Monday and Wednesday. It is important that the children do have their PE kits in school all of the time as these days could change depending on the weather.
