Hello everyone,

We have spent more time this week, focusing on one of our school learning values, to be ambitious. The children have each come up with some personal goals and then we have explored and discussed these further in our PSHE lesson. 

In maths we have continued with our multiplication and division topic. We have been looking at formal methods when multiplying or dividing 4 digit numbers by 2 digit numbers and the children are beginning to become much more confident with their methods. Their times tables are so important here! We have been assessing the children's times tables and they will soon be bringing home cards to work on any that they are not yet secure in. 

On Monday, we have our trip to Highcliffe Secondary school. Thank you to everyone for returning the forms. 

Please encourage your children to complete their homework. There are two pieces of maths to complete, which are set on a Monday, and are due in on the following Monday. The same applies with their spellings. 

Our PE days have changed (again!). We will now have PE on a Monday and Tuesday, but the children should aim to have their kits in every day in case of last minute changes.
