Hello,

We have had a good first week back in Y6! The children have been focused and ready to begin our new topics.

We have been talking lots about Climate Change this week! As well as discussing this because we have been having conversations around COP26, it is also linked to our Geography and Art units this term. We will be carrying out lots of research and learning more about the effects of climate change on our earth and the children have been very enthusiastic so far. 

In maths, we have started our unit on fractions. We have had some challenging reasoning and problem solving tasks to tackle, but we will continue to work on these to build confidence as we move further through the unit.

PE days this half term are on a Monday and a Tuesday. Homework has been uploaded on Spelling Shed and Mathletics so please encourage your child to complete this by Monday.
