Hello everyone,

This week we have been celebrating Inter-Faith Week. We have had worships about a variety of religions and the children have been reflecting on why it is important to learn about other people's faiths and religions, and also how there are similarities between religions. 

In Maths, we have spent the week learning about percentages, finding equivalent percentages with fractions and decimals, as well as finding a percentage of an amount. To finish this unit we had a lesson today where we were applying this to a variety of multi-step problem solving tasks. The children have done really well but we will continue with this skill through our morning maths. 

In English, we have just finished our class book 'Floodland'. There was a real twist at the end which the children were very excited about. 

Please encourage your child to complete their homework which is due in on Monday.
