Hello everyone,

The children have had a good first week back. We have been finishing off our Science and History units that we didn't quite finish before half-term, and will begin some new topics next week. 

In English, we have started a new text focus which is 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets'. The children have enjoyed beginning some different pieces of writing based on these, as well as doing some drama. We will continue with this unit next week.

In Maths, we have begun a new topic based around planning and budgeting for a trip. The children have so far been exploring temperatures and rainfall across the year in different countries around the world. 

Our rehearsals have been going really well this week! It is great to hear so many children have learnt their lines. Please encourage your child to do so if they haven't already learnt them.
