Hello everyone,

Welcome to the Year 6 blog page. I will post on here weekly with updates on what we are doing in class, as well as any messages or upcoming events.

First of all, our PE days are going to be a Tuesday and Thursday this year, so please make sure your child has their PE kit in on those days. 

Secondly, in preparation for next week's Swanage trip, please make sure that you have handed in all of the relevant paperwork including the Code of Conduct and the film consent. Please also make sure that you have completed the information via the link below:

The children have had a successful week settling into the class and getting used to our routines. We have kick-started our topics including our History unit on 'The Trojan Horse' and our Science topic on 'Space and Gravity'. We have also started studying two books in English and Guided Reading: Dead Man's Cove and The Whale. In maths we have been recapping some place value knowledge ready to build on this as the year progresses. 

We are really looking forward to our trip next week - good luck packing and have a lovely weekend!
