Hello everyone,

We have been reflecting this week in Year 6 on remembrance and today attended the memorial service held at the memorial on Sway Road, representing our school. The children were very calm and paid their respects beautifully,  and all adults that attended were extremely proud.

We have been continuing with our work on multiplication and division, learning some new methods when calculating with large numbers. The children have really demonstrated resilience and independence, some of our school learning values.

In English, the children have started to write some information pages on floods,  using some texts that we have explored in Guided Reading and English as models.

Our Geography topic on Climate Change has continued and the children have shared their own knowledge on this topic, as well as learning how this is affecting Australia with bush fires.
