Year 6 Weekly Blog
26.5.23
Good afternoon,
The children did a brilliant job with their auditions for our production of 'Peter Pan' and have now all been given their parts. They should have come home with their scripts today so can start practising their lines if they would like to.
In English this week, we have continued with our book study on 'George's Secret Key to the Universe' and the children have produced some different styles of writing linked to this book including an explanation and their own chapter. We will move on to our next book after half-term.
In Maths this week, we have been exploring algebra, looking at some more complex equations in preparation for secondary school.
In Geography, the children looked at some photographs of different parts of rivers in Brockenhurst. We will start to explore the rivers on a map after half-term before going to do some river studies.
It looks like the sun is going to be shining for half-term - we hope you all have a lovely week.
