Just to confirm: both netball clubs will be running this week as planned.
Just to confirm: both netball clubs will be running this week as planned.
As mentioned in the Clubs email last week, neither Hockey Clubs will be starting this week (w/c 11th September). For KS2 Hockey we are just awaiting confirmation of a start date from the venue - we will let you know this as soon as possible but we are aiming for w/c 25th September. As mentioned in the KS1 update earlier today, we are waiting for the MUGA to be available for the KS1 Hockey Club.
As you are aware KS1 Hockey Club is due to be held on the new MUGA, however as the MUGA is not yet available this club will not be starting this week. We will keep you informed of a start date as soon as we are able. Thank you for your patience.
Reminder: Extra curricular clubs will start w/c 11th September with the exception of Hockey (KS1 and KS2); dates for Hockey club will be advised as soon as possible. Please also note that today (Thursday 7th September) is the last day that you can pay to secure your child's place on any clubs that you have registered for.
Reminder: There will be "Meet The Teacher" sessions this afternoon for Year 4 (3.30 - 4pm) and Year 2 (4 - 4.30pm). If you are unable to make these times any handouts will be passed to you by your class teacher. Please see Newsletter 19 (21st July 2017) or the School Calendar for further details of dates for your diary for this half term.
We are pleased tell you that the booking system for school-based clubs in the Autumn term 2017 is now open (those in green on the extended school provision timetable). If you would like your child to attend any of these clubs please complete the online booking form/s on our school website (found under the Sport and Extra Curricular tab). Places for each club are limited and bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis. There will not be any waiting lists held.
Just a reminder that due to unforeseen circumstances, Mr Littlewood will be out of school today so Lego Logistics club is cancelled. Apologies.
What an amazing evening.
The sun was shinning, the talent show was excllent and Bronya, Sarah and all the PTA reps and parents supported an important annual event that brings the community together. To see past pupils is always a highlight.
I cannot thank you all enough. On behalf of the children who gain so much from the money you raise THANKYOU
Sports Day
As you will have seen from the newletter last week we are still aimimng for Monday 3rd July on the school field weather permittng.
Children will be in school PE kit, but wearing a coloured T shirt that matches their house colour. All children are given a house colour in Year R that stays with them and they earn house points daily and termly rewards in these colours.
The morning of the day is team challenges/activities with all years groups mixed according to house colour.
Lunch wil be 12-1pm and parents are welcome to sign in at the school office and join their children on the field for a picnic lunch. Please remeber we are a nut free school and also have children with egg allergies.
The afternoon will be the formal element with parents sat on one side of the field watching the heats from 1-3pm.
There is always a parents race, so come prepared!
Please check the website on Sunday evening/Monday morning if the weather turns monsoon.
We hope you can join us and that the sun shines.
Today's after school Rounders Club is CANCELLED due to the inclement weather. Hopefully the sun will be back out next week!
