Schools Energy Project: we need your help!

Your child/ren will be bringing home an Activity sheet today.  Can you please return your completed Activity Sheet to your child’s teacher by Monday 3rd April. The Schools Energy Project is giving a prize for the school that collects the most completed Activity Sheets, so we would love you to help us win this!

As part of our school’s involvement in the Schools Energy Project, we were extremely lucky to have been given a batch of Thermometer Cards which we passed on to the children to take home.  We have now put up cards in every classroom and in every office in our school.

Alongside this, we have also had an assembly, with the pupils hearing from The Schools Energy Project about the many different ways that we can all save energy and water.

At school, we are focusing on how we can cut our energy and water bills and as a result, release funds for education as well as for energy-saving measures.  With school budgets being continually squeezed, we at school are particularly keen to save as much energy and water as we can!

We would therefore be delighted if you could support our efforts by reinforcing your child’s energy-saving and water-saving habits at home so that our job at school is made a little easier!

Your child/ren will be bringing home an Activity sheet today.  Can you please return your completed Activity Sheet to your child’s teacher by Monday 3rd April, so we are able to see which class is using their Thermometer Cards at home the most, as we are very keen for all our pupils to take part in this important energy-saving activity.  The Schools Energy Project is also giving a prize for the school that collects the most completed Activity Sheets, so we would love you to help us win this!
