Children usually enter school in the September after their fourth birthday.

We encourage parents to visit the school before their children start with us. All visitors to school are welcomed. Our induction programme for parents and children help ensure a smooth transition from pre-school groups to full-time school.

Reception class Teachers with Year R (four-year old) children always liaise with Pre-schools and Nurseries to ensure smooth transition and meet the needs of the children.

The school office is open for advice and to help you from Monday to Friday 8am until 4pm

APPLICATION FOR A SCHOOL PLACE

For In-Year applications, parents will be notified of the outcome of their application in writing within 15 school days. However, we aim to contact you within 10 school days where possible.

Year R allocations will be notified directly by HCC.
