Brockenhurst C Of E Primary School,
Hampshire SO42 7RX.
'Be bright be seen' or 'Time to shine' is a road safety day. It is a home clothes day but the children should come into school in bright/light coloured clothing - perhaps a fluorescent jacket, but enough to be seen if walking in the dark. As part of the focused discussion during the day classes will have their own fashion shows to review visibility and what the drivers see.
Just a quick reminder that there will be no KS2 Hockey Club at Brock College tomorrow as George is not available to coach. Next session will be Tuesday 31st October after half-term.
Please note that the Red and Green Choices for school lunch will be different than is stated on the menu tomorrow (5th October) and Friday 6th October. Please see below the revised choices.
Red - Fish and Chips or Green - Pizza
Jacket Potato - Double Beans
Picnic Bag - Ham
Red - Chicken tomato pasta or Green - Vegetarian Toad in the hole
Jacket Potato - Chilli Bean Sauce
Picnic Bag - Vegetarian sausage sandwiches (cold)
Monday 2nd October 8:45-9:15am in the school hall
After dropping your children as normal on Monday morning we will be holding a meeting with PTA support in the school hall (approx 30 minutes)
We will be discussing the school crossing and possible actions to maximise the safety of our children.
All parents and ideas welcome. If you cannot attend but have any thoughts please email them to the office or PTA
KS2 Hockey Club will start at Brockenhurst College on Tuesday 26th September, 5.30-6.30pm. There will be 10 sessions this term - please note that there will be no hockey on 17th October. Please see the information regarding the necessary equipment.
We have received confirmation that Year 6 have now left Swanage and are on their way home. They left at 1.30pm, so may be back nearer to 3.3opm than 3pm - traffic permitting.
See note below.
Year 6 have had a wonderful week and are due to leave Swanage at 1pm today. Their ETA is 3-3.30pm depending on the traffic. If there are any major changes to this, we will let you know via email and the school website. We expect that they will greet you tired but happy!
We are holding an amnesty on all Brockenhurst Primary School team sports kit, used for outside fixtures and events. We have severely depleted stocks, particularly the shorts and T-Shirts. We understand that sometimes these get forgotten, particularly over the summer holidays: please can you return these to the school office as soon as possible. Thank you.
