Year 3

Friday Blog - Friday 4th July
Good afternoon everyone,
The weeks are just flying by - I can't believe that we've reached July! Our performance of Oliver with a Twist is fast approaching, too. Many thanks for all the costumes that have already come in. If you haven't sent it in yet, please have it in school for Monday. The performances are next Wednesday 9th July and Thursday 10th July at the village hall. If you haven't bought tickets yet, please see Mrs Gale in the office.
In between rehearsals, we have been reading a new book - Circle by Jeanie Baker. It is about the migratory journey of a bar-tailed godwit and it has fascinated the children throughout the week. They have loved finding out all sorts of interesting facts about the birds' journey.
In RE we have been learning about the Jewish festival of Sukkot. We were all most impressed by the model of a Sukkah that Dulcie built at home - well done, it looks amazing!
Whatever you are doing - have a great weekend,
Clare
