We have had a very exciting week! Dance rehearsals have begun for our class dance as part of the Peter Pan production. Year 4 are very enthusiastic and have enjoyed putting the routine together. We are continuing to practise the songs and they are sounding great!

In English this week we have recapped correct speech punctuation within ‘How to Train Your Dragon’. We then became characters from the story, had conversations out loud and then recorded them in our books, ensuring we had included all correct punctuation. We have needed the week by planning our own dragon narratives for Hiccup which we will write next week.

In maths, we have been dividing two digit numbers. We have been applying our multiplication fluency to help us and partitioning the numbers in different ways to make the calculation easier to solve. We have recorded our workings using part whole models and used dienes to divide practically.
