Good afternoon,

In English this week the children have written their version of chapter 3 of 'Dead Man's Cove'. They have done a brilliant job and today they edited these, thinking about missing punctuation, spellings, sentence structure and paragraphs. 

In maths, we have been recapping rounding, rounding numbers that are up to ten million to the nearest 10, 100, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000 and 1,000,000. There were some multistep problems for the children to answer which they worked really hard on.

We are really excited for the Calshot trip next week. Don't forget if you or your child have any last-minute questions, do get in touch. We are also visiting Priestlands on Monday morning. 

Homework was set on Monday on EdShed and is due next Monday. Please encourage your child to complete this as it will reinforce the learning that we've been doing in class the last two weeks.
